“BRING BACK THE BLACKBERRY KEYBOARD?”

Remember when the BlackBerry and Nokia phones were the craze? For some reason, I seemed to be able to type faster on my phone using the “hard” keyboard. Fast forward to 2026, and my 25-year-old daughter and 32-year-old son type “a thousand words a minute”. Well, not so many, but you get the point. I will be 60 years old in September, and I am still trying to master the soft keyboards. I have the largest phone, auto-correct and predictive word features, and it is still a challenge to type on the phone with my “fat” fingers. What do you think? Gen X and baby boomers, do you have challenges typing on your phone? Should we bring back the keyboard on Android, Apple and other cell phones?
